This program aims to reduce the environmental footprint of human beings in important sectors such as:
- Energy, through the promotion of sustainable wood energy and agro-fuels, and the promotion of renewable energy;
- Extractive industries;
- Reducing emissions of CO2, especially in the preparatory phase for the implementation of REDD (Reducing emissions from deforestation and forest degradation in developing countries) and
- The traditional fishing industry, including tuna and shrimp.
