Communications Manager
Location:Antananarivo, Madagascar.
Major Function:
Under the supervision of the Country Director, the Communication Manager will lead the implementation of
the 2015-2020 Communications strategy. He/She is part of the Senior Management Team.
What you need:
Qualifications
- Minimum of Master’s level degree in communication or equivalent
- Adheres to WWF’s values, which are: Knowledgeable, Optimistic, Determined & Engaging.
- Exemplification of WWF’s key behaviors: Strive for Impact, Listen Deeply, Collaborate Openly, and Innovate Fearlessly.
- A minimum of 7 years’ professional experience in institutional and brand communication;
- Experience working with government and donors;
- Demonstrated project and staff management skills and abilities;
- Proven ability to work successfully with international organizations involved in environmental and/or community issues;
- Demonstrated track record in delivering strategic communications programs;
- Excellent written and oral communications skills, fluency in French and English languages;
- Excellent computer knowledge (word-processing, spreadsheet, layout and image editing software, …).
- Excellent planning and organizational skills;
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to develop and maintain strong relationships and networks at all levels within WWF and with external stakeholders;
- Ability to work within a multicultural environment;
- Dynamic, responsive disposition;
- Open, adaptable, team spirit and positive, solutions-oriented work style;
