Join us to congratulate the new WWF International President Pavan Sukhdev
Pavan takes over from Yolonda Kakabadse, who will leave her position at the end of 2017.
“I am delighted to join WWF at such an exciting time as the organisation is emerging from a significant transformation and is defining new ways of working to make a difference at a scale that matters, to redefine humanity’s relationship with the planet. This generation and WWF have a huge opportunity to build a sustainable future for all and momentum is on our side.”
“Pavan Sukhdev is a global reference in the field of sustainability. He is a listened-to by decision-makers, including politicians. I am delighted that the new president of WWF is such a recognized person” reports Yolonda.
The president of WWF may hold his position for two consecutive or non-consecutive four-year terms. He is also the head of the board of directors of WWF International, an advisory body composed of the heads of the Boards of Directors for each of WWF’s National Offices that constitutes WWF global network.
