WWF Madagascar Country Office is looking for a (01) Livelihoods and Incubation SpecialistConsultancy contract - 01-year renewable
 

Location:

Antananarivo, Madagascar.

Major Function:

 
Under the supervision of the Private Sector Engagement and Alternative Finance Officer, the Livelihoods and Incubation Specialist is responsible for providing support to conservation teams (Landscapes team, Policy and Technical Support Unit team) on the development of approaches and interventions to deliver on the WWF-Madagascar 2021-2025 conservation goals and objectives on livelihoods, value chains and incubation programs

What you need:

 
Required Qualifications
 
  •  Minimum 3 years’ experience in the development of value chains or incubation program or SME and cooperative support preferably in with the sector of agribusiness, fisheries, impact investment or related fields, within private sector organization.
  • Advanced degree in Business, Economics, Environmental Management, Sustainable Finance or other related fields.
  • Fluent command of written and spoken English and French with any other language an asset.

Required Skills and Competencies
 
  •  Very good oral and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate global macroeconomic, financial, and market trends clearly and concisely to both expert and non-expert audiences.
  • Good knowledge of global sustainable Business and investments trends
  • Good understanding of the ESG standards in investment analysis and local investment regulations
  • Have a good network of external relationships in the Malagasy private l sector.
  • Experience with issues in environmental protection and nature conservation across WWF’s global themes include wildlife, forests, freshwater, oceans, food, climate and energy is and advantage
