Green investments: an opportunity for the private sector.
The private sector can make a significant contribution to maintaining the sustainability of natural resources.
At the end of this fair, a more favorable framework for the transition of private companies towards the respect of natural resources should be established. Financing opportunities and tools for the private sector would facilitate this. The Dutch Government's Dutch Fund for Climate and Development (DFCD) addresses an identified funding gap and is designed for sustainable and climate-friendly investments. The DFCD is managed by a pioneering consortium of Climate Fund Managers (CFM), WWF Netherlands, SNV Netherlands Development Organisation and the Dutch Business Development Bank, FMO.
A total fund of 160 million euros will go to companies, whose projects have a positive community impact and operate in highly endemic areas like Madagascar.
This Thursday, July 15 at 13:00, WWF will hold an information session in the CSR 2021 exhibition to better understand the conditions and procedures for submitting applications to access this DFCD funding. The conferences and exhibitions of this 6th edition will be exclusively online via a digital platform.
