WWF Madagascar Country Office is looking for a “Sustainable Finance Junior Officer” – Fixed term – 01 year renewable

Location: Antananarivo

Major Function

Under the supervision of the Private & Finance Sector Engagement Senior Officer, the Sustainable Finance Junior Officer is responsible for providing support to conservation teams on the development of approaches and interventions to deliver on the WWF Madagascar Office (WWF MDCO) goals and objectives to engage financial sector and private sector to increase capital flows and sustainable investments in the blue and green economy.

What you need

Required Qualifications

•   Master’s degree in Banking and/or Finance or other relevant fields (Business, Economics, Sustainable Finance)

•   2 years of experience in the risk assessment and development of MSMEs credit portfolios of a bank, microfinance or private equity

•   Good understanding of Blended finance/Sustainable finance solutions to improve access to finance for Malagasy MSMEs and community-based enterprises is a plus.

  Required Skills and Competencies

•   Good understanding of the ESG standards in investment analysis and local regulations;

•   Good command of written and spoken French and Malagasy;

•   Advance knowledge of English;

•   Excellent inter-personal skills;
