WWF Madagascar Country Office is looking for a “Leading the Change Programme Coordinator” – open-ended contract
Location: Antananarivo
Major Function
Under the supervision of the Grants Manager, the LtC Programme Coordinator is responsible for the management and implementation of activities related to the LtC Programme in Madagascar
What you need
Required Qualifications
-
At least Master’s degree level in a field related to environmental management, social development or related field;
-
At least 5 years of professional experience in programme management and coordination;
-
Good knowledge of the socio-economic and environmental contexts sustainable development and/or natural resources management in Madagascar is an advantage;
-
Track record working with government, private sector and civil society at all levels;
-
Track record of developing and delivering community based natural resources management projects ;
-
Experience with gender sensitivity is an advantage.
Required Skills and Competencies

Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to operate at different levels (local, regional and national) and different cultures;

Good leadership and negotiation skills;
-
Very good ability to listen, analyze and synthesize;
-
Strong oral and written communication skills in French, English, Malagasy;

Excellent interpersonal skills and team spirit;
-
