WWF Madagascar Country Office is looking for a (01) BAF (Blue Action Fund) Project Coordinator – Open-ended contract

Location:
Toliara, Madagascar

Major Function:
Under the supervision of the Landscape Manager, the BAF Project Coordinator is responsible for the management and implementation of activities related to BAF project in the Mahafaly Landscape Action Plan.

What you need:
 
Required Qualifications:
 At least Masters level in a field related to environmental management, oceanography or related field;
 At least 5 years of experience in field project/programme management;
 In-depth knowledge of the socio-economic and environmental issues of the sustainable management of marine resources in the region of intervention;
 Proven track record in working with partners (government sectors, CSOs, private sector and NGO);
 Experience interacting with donors and understanding of donor requirements;
 Experience in project coordination with multi-implementing partners (planning, reporting, communication);
 Experience in project monitoring and evaluation is highly recommended;
 Knowledge of WWF project management norms and standards (PPMS), safeguard tools are an asset;
 
Required Skills and Competencies
 Strong oral and written communication skills in French, English, Malagasy; Competences in Ecosystembased approach (EbA) and in advocacy process to consider EbA in national and regional policy documents, strategies and development plans.
 Excellent interpersonal skills and team spirit;
